Tail came off

so as im sitting in my living room playin call of duty i hear a loud screech so i run over to my leo tank and my 2 leos are sleeping on the hot side but my scht or whatever he is lol is turning the tank upside down eating its own shed skin....it gets it off and everything is cool but then 5 mins later another loud screech so i run back to the tank and still my other leos are sleeping paying paris no mind but then i notice paris with its tail in its mouth! my girlfriend grabbed her stomach and ran i away i quickly put him in a seperate bin as i have no other tank for him! did he do this because of the shedding was it 2 hard to get off? i dont know...i feel so bad because he was the leo that ate way more than the others and shed and everything way more.....sigh

That is really weird. O_O

He will be OK. You just need to take a few extra precautions while his tail is regrowing.

I personally rescued a leo that had dropped her tail a week before I got her, and I have to say its pretty amazing watching it grow back. It will never look the same, but it should grow back fairly well.

Can you fill out the health questionnaire please? This may help us in figuring out why he dropped his tail.
