My friend's dad got a box thru the post from san francissco and found this little guy in there..... lizard rescue - what am i? Lizardq

I am taking it off her hands, but would be nice to know what it is so I can care for it appropriate or take the necessary procedure xxx thanks

Definitely not a uromastyx...tail isn't spiny enough. Razz Did it sneak into the box or something? The pattern of the scales makes me thing "Western Fence Lizard". How big is it? And if it is...they eat bugs. Razz And if it's a boy, when it displays its belly turns royal blue!

Cheers guys! I thought it might be a western fence lizard when I research common species in Calfornia ! Looks like I am keeping him and will need to sort out his enclosure ASAP.... Anyone got any ideas what to do? There are limited careshees out there Sad
