About My Geckos Tail

Re: About My Geckos Tail
Shouldn't take long, post a pic we can tell you if it's healthy looking. Not all geckos are supposed to have fat tails right away, especially when they are young.
Re: About My Geckos Tail
I've had mine for over nine months now, and they still dont have the "fat tail" you're talking about. It's something that comes with age.

Re: About My Geckos Tail
When they're young, all the food they eat ges towards growing rather than storage. Only once they have stopped growing, or eating more than they need to be able to grow, will it be stored in there tail as reserves.
Re: About My Geckos Tail
My eros didn't have his tail come in until he gt his big boy pants around 10-12 months when they're done growing usually but some leos can grow to 18 months old.
