Aw, i love fatties. love the albino one, Goldie.

Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
i cant believe they are both normals, they are so different. Can't wait to start breeding fat tails, their faces are so cute lol.
Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
could be because Razor is 2years older than Chocolate, plus the pics of him are in better light than her and all so Razor has a regenerated tail that someone once said to me looks like a ballpoint pen lol.
they do have such cute little faces

are they housed the same way as leopard geckos?
I might get one after I go to uni ... could be 4/5 years yet

Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
you can house them the same way but they it more humid to the leos.
it would be worth the wait lol they are shy compared to leos but that just makes them cute

=] a[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I don't handle my leo alot anyway.. i like to leave them to chill sooo that wouldn't be a problem.
that's okay.. would a moist hide sprayed everyday be okay for that? or would I have to spray a corner of the viv?

Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
awww I really want one now. when im older and have my own place.. im going to have reptiles and frogs in every room of the house. I think they are beautiful, fascinating creatures and they are cheaper than cats and dogs.
Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
yeah wait until you have your own place or your parents might not be too happy lol

Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
Yeah, i think with fat tails its their solid eye's and cute little face that make em so cute lol.
A lot of breeders house them the same as leo's Sarah but with a bigger humid hide, so when they need the humidity the go in their.
I've heard they are pickier eaters though. Ive had no troubles with mine, she eats mealworms like leo's. doesnt like waxxies though, which is odd lol.

Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
hahah my parents arent interesting in exotics at all. they will only let me get like 2 leos. If i didnt have to share my bedroom with my sister then i could have as many as i want.. but she moans about them.
Re: My African Fat Tail Geckos
haha unlucky, all my leo's are on a rack in my room, as they started off as just pets, well they still are but you know what i mean,
Then the collection just grew lol.

There is a uk breeder called Walkabout reptiles who does the different morphs and crystal palace reptiles currently have a pair of T+ caramel albinos i think but they not cheap lol.
all 3 of them babies had to be sold on as all were boys and i wanted girls lol but they were such little cuties.
I used to have a lovely Blue tongue skink she used to sit in my hood and watch tv lol
