question about raptors
do all raptors have red eyes? someone had listed mack raptors het diablo blanco i was interested in getting and I asked for pics. The pics they sent don't have red eyes, or even look like my aptor. they have grey/purple pattern on their back on a yellow body color. is this normal?

Re: question about raptors
RAPTORs have red eyes, but not all red eyes are full red. Some are snake eyed, meaning there's only some red in the eye. If you can post the eye pics, we can probably tell you if it's a RAPTOR or not.
Re: question about raptors
here are a couple pics they sent me. They said the parents were a mack raptor and a diablo blanco.

Re: question about raptors
Abberant Tremper Albino by the looks of it. If they don't know the genetics i'd recommend not buying from them.
Re: question about raptors
Definitely not a RAPTOR, and technically with the paring they mentioned, they should make Raptor and Snow Raptor babies. But chances are either they are mistaken for the morph of the parents, or the parents have unknown hets.
Re: question about raptors
oh. that's very dissapointing. I was really looking forward to getting these but I wanted mack raptors het diablo blanco. I thought these looked more like albinos. =( Thanks everyone! I would've really been dissapointed if I got them and they didn't produce what I had hoped for
