Recent Problems - Aftermath

Hey everyone.

First off i must apologise for how long the site was down earlier. (something like 6 hours or so...i think)

This was due to database and server issues beyond my control, and so minimal activity was needed on the site.

There is certain information i can not release, but i will tell you all of your emails and personal information is safe in a different database to the one which was affected, which is secure and encrypted.

The full affect of the recent situation is still unknown, and so i ask with great importance that if you spot anything out of the ordinary, weird, not working, missing, you let me know, either in this thread or by PM immediately.

Certain features of the forum i have had to disable temporarily (for how long i don't know yet). Here is what you will notice missing for the time being:
- LGF Points.
- Like/dislike system
- Status updater
- Tabbed profile pages, the profiles have had to return to there old state for now (all on 1 page rather than tabbed)
- Forum Email's will be inactive (emails ending in @leopardgeckoforum.com)
- Chatboxes will be affected temporarily. These will likely be safeguarded and brought back very quickly.
...maybe more.

These features should be back very soon, and as soon as i know anything, you guys will know.

And please please please let me know if you spot anything odd over LGF, it needs sorted no matter how little it is, because it can help in solving bigger issues.

What about LGF points?

LGF Points and Like button have been reactivated.

For all the troubles and the wait for LGF Points everyone has recieved 20 points.

I will be performing tests on the status changer and emails all through tomorrow to bring them back buy the end of tomorrow.

I have brought back the status changer now and also the better profiles, all tabbed and nice.

Still working on bringing the emails back... its sort out of my hands though, when the server decides the mail client is safe then we will have em back, so i apologise to anyone with an LGF Email address.
