OMG Banana just ate!!

I'm sooo happy

Banana finally ate one morioworm after almost 2 months to only accepting waxworms. I actually cried I'm so relieved I tried a second one but I was pushing my luck lol she only ate one about 5 mins ago

Yay! Eros ate 2 for me on Thursday night. (Well 3 am so technically Friday) and also a lil green locust, and Monday and 1 morio as well looks like they're comming outta mating mode aye

That's very good! My set just put away 8 worms total, 4 each just this morning!

awww that's great Kodi. I miss banana's old appetite She'd easily munch 4 morioworms a day if I'd let her.

Wooo! Go Eros! Yep.. looks like they are coming out of the mating season.. I hope so!

Phew I have one that has started on the hunger strike and has now eaten for the first time tonight in about a month...sigh...I worry about her but I am thankful that she ate at least some wax worms tonight:)

Hooray! You must be relieved Sarah. I wouldn't know how it feels to have a leo not eat for a month but I guess I will at some stage. Both of mine are still young (9 & 5 mths) so they eat consistently, except before and after a shed.

Well done - I take it she was a little bit of a fussy eater ?

Its a amazing feeling when they wont eat and you see them or get them to eat. We had the same problem with cookie, but with some love attention and patience we got there in the end. Nice to hear she is eating.

Please note that marioworms tends to be a little nippy and can turn round and bite the leos mouth, putting them slightly off food. This happened to ally about 4ish months back. Lucky enough she only went of food for a week

No she wasn't a fussy eater.. she used to eat perfectly.. easily munching 3 morioworms every other day.. 93g girl soo I wasn't worried. and then a couple of months ago she refused to eat.. and i was sure something was wrong with her but I soon discovered it was just because of the breeding season.. because all her husbandry is right and she never had changes in her pooping, shedding, behaviour or anything like that. I guess because the breeding season is over her eating will get back on track soon

dont worry.. I know about morioworms. banana really doesn't mind about that.. she usually eats them too quickly for them to fight back they are gone in a second lol

Oh right. The breeding season has a funny effect on some leos. But as long as she didnt lose/ didnt lose too much weight I wouldn't of worried that much. And now the season is over for some and fast ending for other leos your little Banana is back on tract - And good to hear it too

Custard is okay with Morios but Ally seems to take her time and been bitten a few times with them. They all on standard mealworms at the moment though

If it makes you feel any better sarah Eros ate 2 supers last night but they were HUGE... almost 3 inches long... he would have eaten 3 if they weren't so big, so I chastized him for not eating for so long and letting them get so huge
