They are lionheads!! Only got 4 boys left now though as all 3 girls that were left are going to their new homes today :-( . They are 9 weeks old. I know thay have got to go to new homes but that doesn't mean they are easy to part with.

OMG Sarah they're looking great... sorry it's taken me so ling to comment on this most of the times I've been here lately has been on my phone and hard to get the pix to download fast. Topaz looks like an awesome blue tort buck... I think you might get that netherland dwarf sooner rather than alter to bring the ears down a little. Since they're still working on the breed standard it is ok to outcross to another breed at this point to get your type right. Obviously you only want to do this once or twice or you'll lose your manes but it would be a BIG help to keep a nice netherland doe in your barn to help with type.

Keep up the good work kiddo Moomin's Litter :) 191501

Smile Thankyouuu Kel Smile

They seem to be perfectly healthy.. I'm not worried about them anymore. They are in a new hutch away from their mom now.. we've spent 2 weeks building one Smile girls in one, boys in the other.

I've decided to purchase a pedigree lionhead when I have some spare money.. I have found some lovely lionhead breeders online in the UK.. Littlesea Lops and Buzz's Bunnies Very Happy If you have a look at the first breeders site.. i'm interested in a blue tort thats like their bunny called 'dinky' Very Happy They have a blue tort now but I have no money Sad

Thanks again Very Happy

You don't want to breed 2 diluted colors together. It'll ruin your color. You need to breed to. A non diluted color like black with a tort background. That will increase your. Tort patterning, it'll be bolder and ricker, distinguish a bit more from the blue.

Id love to check out those breeders for you. It'll be interesting to see how they do it on your side of the pond. Got links?
