hey guys i heard Kermit talking about how their loes use a little litter box, and charm is starting to poo allot more and allot bigger lol so i was wondering how i should go about making it.
i figured i would try and find some sort of little dish or lid big enough to hold sand and charm and fill it with play sand. but i was wondering if you guys have any ideas on how to clean the sand before i put it in there. it must have all sorts bacteria already in it right? and any ideas on what the box its self should be made out of?

I use a plastic tupperware container large enough for my leo. Then I get the reptile sand that looks like this:

litter box questions. Sand10

I have had no issues with any of them eating it. The worst they do is play in it and make a big mess with it....lol.

Once I have my set up I look around the viv to see where your leo has chosen as it's "potty corner". Wherever that is place the sand box there and also place some of your leos poo in there so it smells like them. That is all there is to it. Some of my leos have changed their potty spot when I put the sand in and others have started using the box. They are all different but persistance may win out.

I personally just lay a piece of paper towel in the area they poop in, and call it good. I, of course, don't use paper towels as their main substrate though, haha.
