Weight of young gecko's

I wasnt sure which section to put this in but i cant find any info on weights for young gecko's i weighed rambo and amber tonight and the male (rambo) was 16g and the female (amber) was 17g. i think they are both around 6-8 weeks maybe? i've had them for around 3 weeks now and they were very small when they arrived does that sound like a healthy weight ?

There's never been, in my experience, a "at this age it should weigh X" like dogs or cats. There is such a thing as an over weight leo, but not a consistent "with proper feeding" weight schedule for the life of a leo.

The thing I look for is a good fat tail, the fatter the better. You'll notice when their tail isn't as big as it was yesterday.

It is hard with the young to go with the fat tail because they are using every for growing rather than storing their food in their tails. It sounds pretty good to me Kodieh. Just like people leos are all different and I have seen Rambo at least and he looks good. If they are too skinny you would just be able to tell. You would see their hip bones would be really pronounced and all so I think that you are doing great with them

That's why I tacked the "You'll notice" part on the end . It is very hard at that age, and I worried wrinkles into my face over my youngin's. ;D

Well both of them are working on getting some little chubby tails so im guessing that means they are doing fine although rambo should be embarrased hes being out weighed by a girl ! haha
