very rare fish

here is my hybrid south american redtail cat/tiger shovel nose catfish. this was wild caught in the amazon river. these fish only occasionally cross breed in the wild, and are even more rarely brought into the pet trade! he is super cool![img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][url=https://servimg.com/view/16559265/115][/img]

very nice! i have a RTC aswell but i need to find him a new home because they get massive... some can get over 5 foot long and yours is no exception... i hope you have a back up plan like a pond or something lol.

lol! oh yeah, i have had five red tails, and like seven tiger shovels...they get huge! my buddy is building a 400 gallon custom aquarium right now. he is gonna buy him from me, he has already paid me a good chunk of it. his tank is massive and the design is insane! i will try to get you some pics, it is nuts! he will be going in there with a red tail and a arrowana. should be cool, he is in a 125 now and eats mice on occasion! he was in a 55 in that pic! he is cool, and i HATE selling him, but he is going to a forever home and will have a bit of room. and i can go see him any time i want. he is super cool, he will come to the top and let me pet him...he is the coolest fish i have ever had. i have had some pretty sweet saltwater stuff, but he is my favorite fish i have ever had!

oh, and I also have a pic of my fish in a bowl of the pond water.. while we were cleaning the pond because the filter broke and algae was everywhere!
