My 2 fish tanks

I wanted to show you guys my fish tanks. so here we go. note i took these pics with my phone so they arnt the best and its near the end of the week so the tanks are a tad dirty. also all of my fish are South American and most of the species i keep live in the amazon river.

This tank is a 55 gallon Freshwater aquarium in it is a 6.5 inch male Gold Saum which are also known as Green Terrors. these fish are extremely aggressive and the males can grow to be 10 inches or so, females stop growing after they lay eggs which is when they are about 4-6 inches. This guy is my pride and joy his name is Richter and he shares his tank with an albino Bristle Nose Pleco (a type of sucker fish) who only comes out at night (which is why they get along).


This one is a 120 gallon Freshwater aquarium that holds 6 inch Tiger Oscar (named Conan). these fish are also aggressive and can grow to be 16 inches. im not sure of the sex because it is imposable to look at an oscar and tell if its male or female. anywho in with him are 8 various types of Silver Dollars (red hooks, spotted, and common) these guys are related to piranha but they are vegetarians they get about 6 inches sometimes larger.

I just couldn't keep them as pets.. My friend at college loves fish he has loads of fish i think.. but only remember 'arowana fish'

My favourite fish are: fairy wrasse, catfish, blue tangs because of dori on finding nemo and those telescope moors with the massive eyes :P :P

Very nice. I used to have a couple fish tanks and they were so pretty but I found that my interest lacked and I got tired of cleaning the tanks. They are so pretty though!

thanks guys! fish are hard to take care of. everything has to be perfect inorder for them to live long happy lives in captivity.

nice tanks! i was thinking about buying a Tennacor 170 bowfront and do a salt water set up, but that is kinda on hold right now! i have kept quite a few fish tanks and they are pretty cool. high maint though! i kinda want another saltwater setup, but im gonna wait for a while...maybe another year. i only have one fish now, and he is enough for now! he is cool, dont wanna highjack your thread so i made another post with him.
