Chinchilla is my fav too. Very cute Sarah. My daughter Alexis calls all things cute and cuddly "Cutie"...so all of them she just names "Cutie" for you...lol
Re: Baby Bunnies! :)
hahaha I will call one cutie just for her .. I'm planning on naming all the girls after precious gems... and I'm not sure about the boys yet .. Just for reference purposes when I record them in my rabbit book

Re: Baby Bunnies! :)
awww thankyou. that little bunny is the chubbiest and largest of them all I think it's going to turn out to be a very fluffy lionhead
Re: Baby Bunnies! :)
Number six is actually blue otter not chinchilla. if it were chin it would have black ear lacing and black guard hairs. Six has neither. Tan triangl color (nape of neck) tan lacing tan eye circles tan aloong te jaw and I bet under the belly and inside the rear thighs. The coat is uniform blue? Need a better body shot to be sure but that def. Isn't chin. Depending on the body it could even be blue tort. Bet when yu blow into the coat you have a slate blue ring half way down the shaft. Would def. Prove it as blue not chin. I gotta take some new pix of my 4/20 litter for ya sarah. That orange/ginger baby is just adorable... the cutest face. And you wernt comfortable handling them bfore 19 days? Really? I handle. Mine daily from 4 days old, but then again I've been doing this for almost 4 years. If I waited until day 19 they'd never learn their pose. Usually by day 19 I know wos going to show and who's going to propet. Looks like better than half of yours are gonna have manes. Seperate them early like as soon as their weaned to avoid them nibbling off eachothers manes. Babies are notorious for tha. Barbering mama too. They look real good sarah... keep upthe good work.. but handle more now plz.

Re: Baby Bunnies! :)
haha I was handling them all since 4 days old ish but i was meaning I wasn't comfortable doing it.. it was always overly worried about how mommy rabbit would react and accidently hurting them because of their size and stuff .. i just mean that their size now makes me less worried.. they are less fragile and tiny now I handle them everyday. lol but I'm actually comfortable when im handling them. They are fast though lol and cheeky little things
ooooo blue otter.. that sounds lovely I hope it's a doe because I only want to keep a female to breed with my male lionhead.
Thankyouu even my little 'runt' of the litter is doing well now
I tried to sex them today but I couldn't tell yet.. they all looked the same When will i be able to see it clearly?
Thanks again
and thanks rick, too

I can usually tell by 4 weeks or at least have a good idea. I know by 6 weeks for sure IF they don't morph gender which I've seen happen as late as 12 weeks. If you can get new a half way decent side shot I could tell for sure.
Re: Baby Bunnies! :)
I will try to get some good photos tomorrow after college, or on saturday... I will PM them to you.
