female gecko being really defensive
hi all
just recently my female leo has become really defensive as in when you put your hand in her tank she shys away from me and backs herself into a corner and lays really close to the ground i have no idea why she has started being like this any ideas??

How old is the female? How long have you had her? Has there been any changes in her environment lately? Also is she ovulating/gravid?

LOL, you read my mind Marnie. I was thinking the exact same thing. The other thing I can think of is if she is seeing her reflection and that is putting her on edge. I have seen that before and it makes them defensive and jumpy at the slightest thing.
