My ACTUAL new addition. Sorry about that-PIC HEAVY
If you check out my other thread for a new addition, you'll understand my apology.
Anyway, enough dwelling on the subject. Here is my PERMANENT new addition, Echidna - a Sunglow APTOR het RAPTOR. I was going to name her Delphyne, but it would not feel right or be appropriate.
She is a temperature sexed female (82ºF) and was born sometime in November (I gave her the birth date of November 15, 2011). She weighed about 8 grams when she came home on the 9th of this month! She's a very shy eater, light shy, noise shy, and people shy until you pick her up (she becomes very docile when you hold her...how cute). I just weighed her today and she's gained 3 grams since arriving! Exciting, right?!
So far, she's been eating dusted mealworms and a dusted silkworm since I got her with a little encouragement (she's a bowl eater but I need to find a shallow, clear bowl for her to eat from that the mealies won't escape from). She's also been quite regular, if you know what I mean.
She was kept with two or three other siblings in a rack system so she has what appears to be a small nip on her side. With a few sheds, I'm sure she'll be right as rain.

Thank you. I can't wait to see how pretty she's going to be when she gets older!
Who's the lucky female you're breeding your APTOR to? Keep us posted...and post pictures of the babies when the time comes!!

Thanks everyone. I never thought I'd get a morph with color since I tend to like looking at snow morphs more.
I decided to name her Echidna because in Greek mythology, Echidna is one of Typhon's "mates" (or wife if you want to use the titan's perspective). Both monsters were born from Gaia and Tartaras (yes, that makes them related...but who ISN'T related in Greek mythology? ). I'm not sure where they figured out the genealogy since both were born from the same parents, but Echidna is Typhon's neice if you want to define how closely related they are. But if you look at it according to Hesiod, she's the daughter of Phorcys and Ceto (or Crysaor and Callirrhoe...who cares both monsters were related! EW! :P).
Together, both Typhon and Echidna created seven monsters: Orthrus, Sphinx, Lernaean Hydra, Cerberus, Ladon, Nemeam Lion, and Chimera.
I'm just really into the Greek mythology names. And IF I want to breed the name would fit, right? Otherwise it's just a really cool name to me.
*EDIT: Echidnas (the animal) are cute too! I love their pointy faces! I'd hug one..but yeah.

Thanks Sam. Here's another quick picture I took. She's a little camera shy so I'm surprised she sat still long enough for a clear photo.
