Bearded dragon cleaning? Empty Bearded dragon cleaning?

Post by Jordan Wed Apr 13, 2011 6:02 am

So i cleaned out my beardie today and discovered that he had done a massive poo (nothing unusual) but that he had walked through it so much that he had it smeared all over his legs, tail and vent area... so whats up with that! lol.

Anyway my question is, whats the best way to go about cleaning this?

Can you give a beardie a shallow bath or would a wet wipe be better or what?

Thank you.

My cousins beardie loves his baths and loves to swim actually! Tosee him right in the tub and let him go to town. Just make sure there is a gradient in the tub so he can touch at one end!!!

really? wow, i would have thought that baths are really bad for them, considering, humidity or moisture in their environments can cause breathing problems. But i might give it a go sometime soon then.

She does not do it all the time but I guess she does it once in a while and they enjoy it for her.
