Re: bearded dragon
Any digital thermometer that has 2 temp readings would be fine. He can just use the same type of thermometers as most people use for there leos
Re: bearded dragon
so a probe thermometer and put it where the bearded dragon bask's? do you really need to have one for the cool end?? its a 3 foot viv the same as i have so i think it would be fine on the cool end

Re: bearded dragon
Yup a probe thermometer right at the basking area would be just fine and Yea you certainly should be fine on the cool end with out one in a 3 foot Viv.
Re: bearded dragon
I have a digital probe thermometer for mine. I love this thermometer:

You can get it at Walmart for $12, and it tells you the hot side, cool side, and the humidity too. I use it for my beardie and my leo!

Re: bearded dragon
is ASDA not owned by the company that own Wallmart? I'm sure it is! maybe they will have them in ASDA
Re: bearded dragon
ASDA was so like wal-mart it was freaky. I went to england a few years ago and went to asda. Its weird O_O LOL
Those strip ones aren't very accurate even if the basking area doesn't need to be monitored, (like if just the air temp needed monitoring).

I went to Liverpool, Manchester, London, and a bunch of places I dont remember LOL. XD We went to Alton Towers, that was cool. We visited family mostly, but did a lot of sightseeing too. We went 2006, so I was I think 11 or 12. XD

wow.. bet you had an awesome time!
It was OK. LOL.
I was really sick when we went, so I felt sick a lot of the time. But I did have fun. We went camping LOL, and that was probably my favourite part - there was eight of us in a tent made for like 4 people XD.
I loved that area, I found it really nice. My cousin runs a hair salon in Liverpool.
Oh another thing I LOVED, was the beatles museum. AWESOME!
