Re: Shedding
that seems pretty normal they usually shed as they grow my leo elmo didnt shed for about 3 weeks at one point .. they will shed when they need to just always make sure you check for any that they havent been able to get off and if you do find some then just clean it off with some warm water

Re: Shedding
If anything you're doing it RIGHT... which is making your leo grow properly, healthy and shedding like a feind... that's a good thing usually

Every one has to learn somewhere and though it might seem like a silly question to you - it wasn't to me. And I once asked more less the same question.
Your leopard gecko will shed it skin when ever it grows or become fatter. Hatchlings will shed their skin a lot more often than a sub-adult to adult would. Most of the time you wont see your leopard gecko shed. But when it does you will notice it become white in colour (as you know already)

Well done Nice to see a leo grown up or gain some weight -make you feel your doing a good/right thing x
Re: Shedding
Yeah it's an amazing feeling. The owner of the shop said he doesn't eat very well so every time he eats something I get so happy because like you said makes you feel like your doing something right

Hello bcook! Welcome to LGF!
Honestly, I would really never take any animal to a pet store to get medical help for any of my pets. Unless they are truly a reptile specialty shop, and even then they can't do much, but advise you on what you could do. Its best if you are worried about your leo to take them to a reptile specialty veterinarian.
Your leo is fine. Many leos have trouble shedding, I find that each of my leos have a "trouble" spot that seems to be harder for them to shed. To aid your leo in shedding you should have a moist hide (like a tupperware container with moss - such as spagnam- or papertowel that you mist daily). You can also get a q-tip and wet it with warm water (but not too hot!) and gently rub the leos head a few times, this will loosen up the skin.
Good luck!
