Could rambo be shedding?
Hello,
I noticed last night while rambo was out he was looking quite pale, on closer inspection his skin appeared a bit tightish and maybe a bit dry around the area where his legs join the main body and his feet looked almost white (rambo is a Jungle/RAPTOR) he was quite orange/yellow up until then. i made sure i misted his moss in the hide area last night to help him if this is the case. as far as i know he hasnt shed since i got him a few weeks ago and he has definately grown a good 3cm atleast since then!
Could he be shedding some skin due to growing?
Sorry for all the silly questions but im still pretty new at all this
Thanks

Re: Could rambo be shedding?
It will just be a routine shed. Nothing to worry about.
The fact that you have never noticed him shedding in 3 weeks means he is likely pretty good and fast at it, so he'll probably have it all off in 24 hours.
The ghostly pale look is the sign of shedding, its just the top layer of skin seperated from the new stuff underneath.
When he is done shedding, in about 48 hours check his toes, nose, crotch area and tail tip for any bits of skin stuck on. Unlikely, but best to check.

Yeah, over time you will get to know when they have shed even if you have seen it or not. Mine I can look at and see them all bright and new looking and you know they have shed when you weren't looking.

Banana, my leo, is an adult leopard gecko.. and she sheds about every 3 weeks ish. In fact, she looks like she's going to shed with the next couple of days.. as she's going all white
