What does the breeder mean by 66% eclipse supersnow?

Or does he mean Poss Giant SS Eclipse, 66%ph Tremper?
There's some heavy genetics involved in those leo's.

Have you ever heard anything about the deformities and stillbirths involved with breeding an SS to an SS?

Making video of unpacking them would make a great review and that's a great price for the pair... Are they related?

That makes more sense its still a little odd though.

Or does he mean that it is 66% Eclipse, as in the eyes. Because its odd how we would come to a conclusion on the eyes, when SS's eyes are all covered anyway...

I think so, with such an exact genetic line which is the same for both of them.

Oh, Jordan, I believe also that the 66% means that 66% of the eye is eclipsed.

Thats whats confusing me if its a super snow, the eyes should 100% anyway. Unless the eclipse changes the eyes of a super snow? I'm sure they don't. But i've never worked with eclipse gene on its own really.

Yeah, the guy is working with me a ton on my purchase, and asked if I planned on breeding these two together. He tells me that because the super snow gene develops physically slower than others, that it results in deformities and stillbirths when breeding the SS to the SS. So having understood that, (He works a lot with snows) I'm re-evaluating what I'm going to buy; I'm thinking of getting now a mack snow 100% het raptor for the genetic possibilities.

Getting a mack snow het raptor would be a good idea. or an MS Tremper het eclipse. And you can produce some super raptors, and them go on to produce giant super raptors. If these turn out to be giant.

Yeah, I'm really taking a liking to the mack snow het raptor just cause the possibilites. I really wanted to buy the male SS and a snow raptor but that would've set me back $320 instead of $230; so I'm shying away from that, besides I told him I didn't want him bending backwards for me on this. (Usually, the SS is $100, the Snow Raptor is $250, and shipping is $50; so he cut the SS by half, and dropped $30 off the snow raptor but I don't/can't spend that much because my wife would kill me xD)

Haha yeah that is getting pretty pricey.

You could just get a standard raptor. They are pretty easy to come by nowadays.
Breeding it to one of these guys, you would get some MS raptors in the first gen, and then yyou can breed them back to each other to get the Super raptors. AAND if these guys ARE giant, its a co-dom gene and it will come along with it all at the sametime, and you can likely end out with some Giant super raptors that way.
(im actually pretty jealous of that project lol)

Haha, since he's worked with me so much, I think I'm going to go with the MS raptor and be one step further along in the breeding project. He's such a great guy, and has really been a great help; I'm not going to not buy from him. And his products are really great too, I mean that male SS is gorgeous.
