New Little Leos
I am not sure what types they are but I wanted to show them off as well as find out what type they are, does anyone know????
FIRST, the pic of their tank, it isn't finished but it will be soon. We are going to get some lamps, day and night ones, one on each side. ANYWAYS! Here you go ^^ It is 55 gallons.
This is Dodger ^^
This is Draco! The Female
This is Stubby - His tail was pulled off at a young age and now its all like, stubby XP
This is Sobi - He is my teachers Leo. but I just HAD to post him on here, he is the first one I fell in love with!
Dodger, Stubby, and Draco all live in the same tank, they're ALL a year and a half and they haven't tried to fight, they all have their own little hiding spot and are drinking well and are a little skittish but I'm guessing it's because of the new surroundings.

Re: New Little Leos
What kind of substrate are you using? Tiling or paper towel is the best substrate to use. Loose substrates can cause impaction, even in adult leos.
Dodger looks like a normal.
I can't really tell what Draco is.
And Stubby looks like a patternless.
I'm not sure though xD

Re: New Little Leos
I am using some type of sand and hay, that's all I had, plus the guy has had leos on them for years and has had no impaction. I discovered this morning, they're ALL males, the man told us two males and a female but with closer examination I saw they were male. I know about the loose substrates and such, but I am using what the guy gave me till I can find something else, and I know impaction is dangerous and all but I see others using it and it's ok, I mostly see young leos getting impaction, not really adults. I am watching them very closely though to make sure that if they do get impacted that I can stop it. ^^
