Introducing.... MURRAY!

Well. Ever since I saw a video of these two frogs on youtube, I've wanted them. Went to petsmart the other day with my best friend, and lo and behold they had them! For $6.99!! Went back a few days later, and I got one! Very excited and happy!
Was a bit of an argument getting it though lol. Mom didn't want me to, and finally said "well, phone your dad at work and ask him". He thought I meant an African Dwarf Frog (which is an aquatic frog) that I've had before. He said yes, and when he came home he was quite surprised when he came home and it wasn't an ADF! :P The thing was, dad said I could only get one if I named it Murray (I don't know why, but he's obsessed with that name lately LOL). He's definitely a boy. First night, he was croaking most of the night, next day was croaking during the day. He's a croaker! LOL. Sooo..... here's MURRAY!




OH. Kinda funny story. I was holding him to show my best friend, and he jumped out of my hand and leaped right towards her and scared her so bad! LOL. I felt bad though that he jumped. And then he got under my bed -rolls eyes- Took us a while to find him, luckily he wasn't hurt. He's definitely a crazy jumper! LOL. It was weird though cause I held him before that, and he was fine. He was actually cuddling into my hands. My friend joked that maybe Murray doesn't like her. lol
He's soooooo cute! Love him! He likes to be pet as well (with wet hands of course).
That is his temporary tank, he will be moving into my baby leo's grow-out tank once the leo is finished growing.

AWWWWW I LOVE Murray... I so want another frog... What kind is he? I can't quite place it... waxy monkey frog? Green tree? That white stripe is throwing me off... Ive seen taht type before but the name is evading me at the moment. I saw a couple on craigs list here the other day, a grey tree frog and 2 green frogs, all being kept in the same 10 gallon tank ut she only wants $30 for all 3 and the tank. I'm gonna call her

Oh Murray is so so cute. One fo the very few things I have not dabbled in yet is frogs...lol. I really like the looks of him kathryn:D

What kind of frog do you have Kel? In all my excitement I didn't mention what he is. He's a Green Tree Frog. I would definitely take that offer, and then split them. The grey tree frog looks really cool! Let me know if you end up getting them! I'd love to have a fellow frog-owner on here to talk to! I used to be hooked on fish, but now I'm heading into the amphib/reptile area XD

Wow stunning. The boyfriend is wanting one - But dunno if we can bring anymore animals into the house (we still have to sneak Snowball from my house into his lol) he just obtained a new corn

My toad died last summer Kath, it was just a woodhouse toad that my son brought in from outdoors but she was a really groovy toad. I have a picture ofher somewhere I'll have to upload... her name was of course... Miss Toad I am however in the market for a new froggie friend... what's a kermit with out a frog I'd like to get a grey tree frog, a red eyed tree frog, a dumpy tree frog (but everyone and their brother has one of those), a bird poop frog (they're really colorful despite the gross name), goodness the list goes on and on... a chubby frog, possibly a red and black walking frog... as you can see I haven't decided yet, but then again Im also leaning towards a mandarin newt as well.

Aw, sorry your Miss Toad died Kel. The grey tree frog was awesome looking! I'd like a pacman frog one day as well, they are pretty cool! Bird poop frogs are awesome as well, just looked them up.
Newts are awesome as well, I was thinking of getting a fire bellied newt a while ago but am holding off for a bit. I think I've got enough pets for now! LOL.

Little update on Murray:
I converted an old plastic tub (7 gallons) into a new home for him. He LOVES it. He's jumping around like a maniac. I have a feeling he will be croaking well into the night!
