The Rabbit Thread (Remember the "chicken Thread")?

Well since there seem to be so many rabbit lovers/admirers (now who can't love a cute lil bunny wabbit ) on the forum I figured I'd post some recent pix of my bunnies from a photo shoot to update my web site yesterday. These could be considered "out takes", opnes that didn't make it to the web site but still cute as hell Feel free to add some of your own rabbit pix if you have any, we'd all love to see 'em.

I'll start off with some of mine... This first fella is called Romeo... because he is such a lover... he always wants petted always a goof... begging to be with you.

This is my little siamese sable (colored like a siamese cat) buck Mr. Wonderful (aka Scooter). he also makes that "What 'Chu lookin at" face.



Scooter is 1 leg away from his grand champion title



This is Sammy Jr (or just Junior). He is a broken chinchilla junior buck.

And this is Big Lou... he is a black silver marten senior buck.

This next one is Speck. Shes a broken chestnut senior doe. We call her speck because she has just a speck of color onher (also a play on pee wee hermans dog in his movie PeeWees Big Adventure and yes her solid chestnut sister's name is PeeWee ).

The certainly do each have their own lil qwarks . I still have to get mel, prince, zsazsa, norman, hershey, alice and peewee done yet. Id like to get better pix of rebel sammy sr and donnie 2 as well. Inga and igor are getting fat from bein preggers so not a good time to be photographing pregger lil fatties Just doing the ones you saw that was bringing them out 2 at a time and took about 2 hours to do 6 rabbits problem is I think norman and prince can fit thru the slats on the wire fence. we'll have to be careful there.

Glad ya liked the pix. I'm hoping to breed speck to romeo and peewee to mel this upcoming week after it cools off a bit. Rabbits don't like to breed in the heat plus it gives the babies bigger ears (google summer ear). Don't want that on netherlands.

Hahahaha that's too funny... speck sure is a popular gal she'd never do well as a show rabbit, she's easily over 3 pounds and show rabbits can't be over 2.8 pounds... shes a brood doe all day long... if I could get her to breed
