Pix from my Fall 2011 Rabbit Show!
Well this is mostly for Sarah but anyone else that loves buns feel free to chime in
These were taken this past fall at the second to last show of our season in Painesville Ohio, the Fall 2011 show. We did pretty good coming home with many blue ribbons
Ok the first one is kinda stupid/funny, but I thought it was cute... it's the tee shirts I had made up for my rabbitry... it's our logo
This was an overall shot of the show house giving you an idea of just how crazy it can get. Mind you this was AFTER about half of the people had already cleared out.
Couple more views.
In this next one you can see our club president in the bottom right hand corner, the guy with the white hair in the blue shirt sitting next to the lady with the long brown hair.
The lady in the black/red/white striped shirt on the right, the lady in pink with her back to me, is the lady that sold me Bruce Amy Dick... awesome rabbits, always winners. She took home a LOT of ribbons that day
This is an English Angora rabbit... I put my foot in the pic to give an idea of how truly HUGE this rabbit was
Some smaller jr english angoras
Some lionheads that were for sale Sarah you would have DIED at how cute these things were. See they get to keep their skirts
This is one of the judges at the show judging my himi buck Norman, I had just gotten another himi buck, Bruce that day but it was too late to enter him and you can see in the holding coops behind judge Collucci is my broken chin buck Jr. being held in the winners coop waiting to go onto best of breed, which we unfortunately didn't win
and last but not least our take for the day... 7 blue ribbons and 2 of my best of breed (BOB) Best of Variety (BOV) winners. That's Inga on the left, she is a squirrel doe, was recently sold to a friend of mine. I have her sister who won best of variety jr at nationals this past year, and on the right is a broken chinchilla buck named Jr. he developed a sudden bad attitude so he's no longer with us either but some of his offspring are
So that's it. Our first show of the season is the 17th... sooo excited... I have a bunch of up and commers that I can't wait to get on the tables
