Re: food, weight, size
Hiya, if he's more than 6months old i would take his feeding down to every other day, leo's dont all gain weight the same, I have some that will gain more weight in a week than others and some that gain more one week than they do the next and a few that just stay the same weight from week to week. 3g isn't a bad amount to gain over a week if your feeding every day.

he shouldn't do as long as you just give him slightly more on the days you do feed him

Re: food, weight, size
It depends really. If this food that he is eating is going into growing and the gain in weight is from actual growth then its fine, keep him growing at a nice speed.
BUT if this 3g gain is in fat and chubbying him out, then slow it down.

Re: food, weight, size
well he has got bigger with it becuase when i got him he was only 6inch and now he is nearly 8 so it could be that he's not getting chubby or anything, his head is getting bigger and he is getting longer but wouldnt say chubby as such. so what would everyone serjest i do??? im confused now would every other day feeding him be fine??? the other day he didnt want food for the first time in ages and he went a night without feeding....but he was shedding

Re: food, weight, size
As i say its up to you, if your gecko is not fat, and not nearly fat then keep him growing, it will help him gain length and delve more into manhood.
If he is putting it on as fat storage then yes cut him down.
But i'd say a 3g gain each week will be safe while he is still growing.
