Hey Everyone! Justin and Houdini here
I wouldn't say I am fairly new to the game as I used to have leopard geckos when I was back in high school. It has been awhile but I picked this baby about three weeks ago.

His name is Houdini and that was derived by his constant attempts to disappear and escape. Once he was actually successful for a day until I found him. He is a very energetic little guy filled with curiosity. If anyone wants to tell me what morph he is that would be very helpful. I used to have two females and a male but they all died of impaction and I never got back into it. Now I believe I have researched every possible aspect of his health and well being and ready to raise a very strong gecko. Lessons learned and notes taken.
Here he is plotting his next escape.

Nice setup and cute gecko, looks like you've done your homework and improved on the husbandry. Definitely won't be having impaction issues now
Looks like a super hypo tangerine in the making, baldy if he ends up with no spots on the head, and carrot-tail if he ends up having 15% or more carrot.

I agree with what Mardy said, SHT with a possible baldy and carrot tail when he gets bigger.
I. too, have an animal named Houdini! Though, mine is a Ball Python who would do the very same thing; disappear in his cage!
