Update on my little guy

Ive now had my lil guy for 2 weeks. Hes doing great! Eating so well . I just introduced him to mealies last week so im now feeding him those & crickets. I have been gutloading the mealies with lettuce and carrots & have them in a dish in the tank but not sure he has noticed they are in there.
I see he is more comfortable coming out of his hide alot more.
Hes climbing right into my hand which i love so much i was scared he wouldnt like being held. I think its amazing that he is already climbing in my hand after 2 weeks
But i have noticed he still sometimes goes into his hide when i come into the room but when i open the lid he peaks his head out lol. Just thought id update everyone that gave me all the great advice

That's great. Good job. Something you can do to help him find the mealies in the dish is drop them in a trail leading to the dish then drop them in the dish in front of him. He'll put it together. Also keeping the dish close to his hide will help. Count how many you put in the dish so you will know if any are missing. Also keeping a bit of carrot in the food dish with them bigger than the leo can eat helps keep them moving to catch his attention. Using a ceramic soap dish will make it easier for him to get in there with them and them more space to move around to catch his attention. Keep up the good work

I do have a question hes shedding today but not eating it just kind of rubbing it all off is that normal?

Yes, typically he will eat his shed skin and it will cause him to not eat cause he's full!

Hes not eating the skin...he ate earlier today maybe thats why

It could be that too, eyes bigger than his stomach. ;D
