Left eye seems swollen/won't open
So, Thundercleese here just underwent his second shed since I've owned him, however now it appears that something is wrong with his left eye, and I'm not sure how to proceed from here, he doesn't react super well to being touched too much (anywhere but the back of the head/neck really) and I really don't want to have to try to restrain him in any way, but I have no idea what is wrong with his eye or how to help fix it.
Pics below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The picture is too small and so I am not able to see much. Can you take another picture? Does it look like retained shed?

Re: Left eye seems swollen/won't open
Here, I downloaded them, and reuploaded them for you to make it easier.
It appears to be stuck shed near the eye. I would use PLAIN saline solution eye drops to flush out the shed. A sauna would also help. A sauna is basically a container filled with paper towel, coco fibre or moss that is misted with warm water, to provide great humidity. You put him in the container for 5 - 15 minutes to help get the loose shed off.
Do you have a moist hide for your gecko? I would get one if you don't. Its a container filled with paper towel, coco fibre or moss that is misted daily to provide humidity for your leo to go into when he wants.
Good luck! I hope its as simple as some skin around the eyes!

Re: Left eye seems swollen/won't open
It could have been prematurely shed skin that revealed skin beneath that wasn't quite ready to be exposed. I've had that happen with my boy Eros but his was on his tail and took about 24-48 hours before it started looking and feeling normal again. Please keep us informed, esp. if this reoccures.

Glad that it worked out. I would say for sure it was stuck shed as I have seen this with a few of my leos. As soon as the shed comes off they are fine. As Kel said though keep us updated.
