wont listen

so i have this friend that has just got a bearded dragon and he got it from the pet shop i got my elmo from and they have given him all the wrong stuff like they did to me and i am trying to help him by telling him the right stuff to go and get and telling him to take the dragon off of calcium sand but he is convinced that it is the right thing for him to be on ..... for god sake why wont he listen to me... he hasent even had a reptile before and he didnt do any reasearch on it before he bought it .... im so anoyed
