I would have him do tons more research before he gets into breeding. And with only $200, your not really gonna find over the top nice geckos to breed with. I personally would have him buy one pair and see if he even likes them before he goes to breeding.

Well from the looks of it $200 might get a good pair. But if he is wanting the best he better get more than $200 from what I have looked at.

What does he like?
I suggest looking researching the different morphs available and seeing what he likes.
For example, I really like the brighter morphs, so I'm going to be breeding snowglows, and possibly a tremper albino into the line at some point.
Is he planning to get the leos shipped or is he planning to get them in his area? If shipped, he is going to have to deduct about $60.00 out of that $200.00 for shipping alone, if he gets all the leos from the same breeder (combined shipping).

Re: 3 leopard gecko morphs be cool 4 breeding
I spent $240 on a super snow male and mack snow female alone. Now, I love the snow lines above anything else, but price wise they are no where near the top end morphs. (don't ask me who sets prices, I think snows should go for $500 each haha) So, $200 is gonna get you MAYBE a decent male from a show. It's not going to get you a good breeding ready trio.
Re: 3 leopard gecko morphs be cool 4 breeding
I would probably buy a snow, since they are codom, maybe a tremper albino, and maybe something like a blizzard. But since the tremper and the blizzard are recessive, the first generation of breeding wouldnt be very interesting.
Look for codominant morphs.
