forum rules and restrictions?

hi guys ,
i have recently been into a pet store in which they had dead and dying animals on display including leo's . Are there any regulations or rules on this forum about naming and shaming pet shops such as this one?

We would rather you not. It can leave the forum open to possible law suits should they see it and that would just be a disaster. I really appreciate your want to tell people NOT to shop there but this is not the best place. Thank you for asking before posting the name.

I know I'm coming into this a little late BUT if you really want to shame them you CAN always report them to your local health department, animal control agencies, and state licensing bureaus which will usually cause an investigation if you are persistant with your complaint and can document it. Take cell pix, check up on them on a regular basis, not things that haven't changes and what has, try to provide them with proper care sheets at the pet stores, maybe they're just uneducated. There's a lot that you can do on a local level that doesn't open you or anyone else up to potential legal retaliation. Good luck, please keep us posted

It is illegal to have a sick or disfigured animal on displays at zoo, I assume there is the same law with pet stores? Its illegal to sell a sick animal in the UK you should only be able to adopt it....
