Update on my unexpected arrival

Well it has been 4 days since my little one arrived. I am happy to say, he's still thriving, in his little set up. Not shed yet, but appears to not only like going in his moist hide, but getting underneath the damp kitchen towel !!
Having sorted my temps in my adult leo viv, yesterday , I noticed the temperature was set at 28*, well having put my egg in there for the first few weeks, it appears that the reason for the 38 days hatch , may be because it is in fact a little boy, going by 28* being about 86/87*f. Anyway all is good , may have had a lack of confidence at the start ( like with any new arrival, being human or reptile ) but I feel more confident for my next incubated clutch ( which is definately being incubated at 82* so hopefully will be longer )

Glad to hear he is doing well! I hope he grows to be a good, healthy little leo. What morph is he?

aww bless, I think mum is normal, but I think when I got Dad, they said he was an enigma, but not sure
