Kalani before/after, Tyko is home!
When I bought Kalani, she was a skinny little girl with shedding problems. Probably not the best idea for my first gecko, but I have no regrets! She is a sweet little girl that I dearly love. Kalani looked like this at the time of purchase at 40 grams -
And looks like this tonight at 63 grams! Still some weight to put on but she's getting there. She definitely has no problems eating.
And this is probably my favorite picture of my baby girl. Just because it's exactly what she does when I walk in the room!
And I just got this ham in yesterday from Mardy. Thanks so much for this beautiful gecko He's still getting settled in, ate a little bit tonight and has been happily exploring his tank and posing for pictures real nicely. I started calling him "tubby" but had to stop myself, I knew I'd keep calling him that! So here's Tyko, or Ty for short.
Peekaboo!

Kalani is beautiful, and wow those are really nice pictures of Tyko. Great camera work
I'm happy you like him, and very glad he is eating already.

Thanks
I do. I'm over eager to get him out for the first time, but for now I'm letting him rest.

FANTASTIC photos. What kind of camera do you use, I'm jealous! Gorgeous little geckos, is Kalani a Mack snow? And Tyko is soo chunky and cute.

Thank you It's a Canon rebel T3i. I LOVE this camera. I loved my previous XSi too, but the lowlight capabilities of the T3i are simply amazing, not to mention the detail and the color.
I'm not sure. The people I bought her from didn't know, but I think she is a mack snow, since she seems to be getting darker each shed.

That's SUCH an awesome camera. I'm jealous! Hehe. The details are amazing though, great macro work. And I'm trying to learn the morphs, it's SO hard because there seem to be gazillions of them. :P I think she is a Mack Snow though. One of my favorite morphs!

Thanks everyone
Mine too. The mack snows, red stripes, electrics, and blacks are my favorites. The bell albinos are really growing on me too!
It is hard. I learned all the main hedgehog and chicken colors within a week of getting into the circuits, but gecko colors are hard to memorize and understand for some reason.
