My Christmas "rescues" Empty My Christmas "rescues"

Post by kathstew Sat Dec 24, 2011 10:56 am

I posted an ad on our local classifieds website saying that if anyone had any reptiles they no longer wanted/could take care of, I could take them and either find them new homes (Not for a profit) or keep them myself. Kinda a rescue type thing. As I see so many people giving away their pets on that site.
Anway, got an e-mail last night from a lady who couldn't take care of her two leos anymore, but wanted them to go to a good home. After e-mailing back and forth she decided I could take them Smile
After seeing them though, I can't really call them rescues as they were in obviously a great home. They both seem very happy and healthy. (Quarantining though obviously).
They came with EVERYTHING.
Anyway, I just took one pic of them for now, but I'll probably get some more tonight and over the holidays.

Both are females according to the lady I got them from. Once settled in I will double check their sexes.
Right now they are named Holly and Kringle. lol

WOW, that's amazing! Soo sweet, what a great gift. They do look great, are they normals? Sorry, I'm horrible at morphs. Goodness, you have so many amazing animals to take care of, and 7 leo's! You must like them or something. ;D Congrats, merry christmas. So glad they found a great new home with you.

That's awesome!
My three are "rescues" in a sense, if I didn't take them the guy would've only had a 15 gallon tank to house the little guys in.

Thank you everyone! They have settled in really well, and are very friendly. I adore them.
I checked, and they are both females. I was kinda expecting the big one to be a male, but I'm just as happy she's a girl! :P
Here are a few more pictures of them
First some of Kringle:

Holly:

I think Kringle is in love with my mom lol. Everytime mom comes in the room Kringle comes running out and pawing at the glass until mom takes her out. Then Kringle lays down on my mom's arm and won't get up xD Its really cute.
