New Christmas Eve Leo's :)
Got up early Christmas Eve to go to the reptile shop to see the plum and brown fat tail that my boyfriend had seen the day before and saw another little normal leo that had been living at the reptile shop since i picked Mario up a few months ago. I'd just been paid so i thought i'd treat myself to two new geckos ^_^ The normal gecko looks exactly like Lipsy only she is a little smaller and has short stubby toes on her front right foot that are all missing nails. The fat tail is in perfect condition with no toes or nails missing and shedded perfectly yesterday evening. They are both in quarantine and then i am hoping to introduce them to Lipsy for a short time to see how they get on. That wont be for atleast a month yet though.
I've read all about fat tails and really they are no different to leos except they like higher humidity and are nocturnal, the fat tail stays in her moist box most of the time and the normal leo is very active (: They get on quite well at the moment. Oh yeah, and they're both female ^.^ But nameless :s

Re: New Christmas Eve Leo's :)
they are both lovely looking
but its not advisable to keep the 2 together as they are different species and fat tails have a really nasty bite if they get hold which in a fight would result in your leo probably dieing, they wont really be getting on just tolerating each other which may change at feeding times.

Cute geckos I agree with sam, AFT's are known to bite, it's a recipe for disaster to keep 2 different species together.
