Brumation? Planning on breeding
I've seen in other posts that if you dont plan on breeding your geckos, they dont need to go into brumation. So does that mean in I do plan on breeding they should? I havent really heard anything else about this. And also, if I plan on breeding this season should i be preparing them for anything this far ahead?

Re: Brumation? Planning on breeding
Brumation is not necessary, some breeders do it to trigger the ovulation of female leopard geckos. It's just a technique of lowering the temperature and reduce their exposure to light for a period of a few weeks. Then after that raise the temperature and give them a longer daylight cycle. You are just triggering the whole winter > spring seasonal changes.

No, its not necessary.
How old/big are your leos you are planning to breed?
Breeding isn't something that should be taken lightly. It takes a lot of time, money and responsibility.
I suggest doing a LOT of research first.
Good luck on your future breeding plans.

Awesome.
My advice is not to get an albino male.
You shouldn't mix the albino strains.
And I will definitely PM you the links right now!
