Re: maybe lack in calcium?
Try this one. It's good pure calcium, phosphorous free, with no D3. You put that in a bottle cap or lil dish and leave it inside the tank at all time. They'll lick it when they want/need calcium.
As for calcium sand, the problem with sand is they'll want to eat it sometimes, so I try to avoid calcium sand myself. They love to ingest calcium, I see mine do it all the time. Sometimes they do so to help them digest food, sometimes they do it because they feel they need it.

Re: maybe lack in calcium?
I buy exoterra calcium.. which is pure with no D3
&& exoterra multivitamin.. which is the one with D3 and all the other important things
I just leave the pure calcium in the tank in a bottle cap And they will eat it when you are not looking usually.. I've only ever seen banana eat it once but I can always see marks in it where she's had her nose in it
Because she's refusing to eat dusted morioworms, I now have the exoterra multivitamin with D3 in her tank instead.. but Grumpy has the pure calcium
