Re: pairing females
Absolutely not. If they are already having little nips like that, it is not likely to go well. This is a show of dominance already and putting them together is only asking for trouble.
Re: pairing females
Feisty female, you definitely don't want to put them together if you saw that. What you did is actually how people test to see if 2 geckos will get along. You put them next to each other, outside of their tanks, and see how they react. If you got a female that'll bite outside the tank, she'll be even worse inside the tank as she'll have even less space. Thus she would be more protective of her territory.
Re: pairing females
Its an odd thing though. As mrs looney requested that the gecko's were tried together before buying them. And they got on fine here, a few small incidents trying to squash into small spaces together but... nothing really.
Is there any current stressors, or change in there routine?

Re: pairing females
like jordan said they were put together before and there wasnt anything bad like that happen... at first when i put them on the bed they just walked away from each other and didnt seem bothered maybe it was coz i put them back next to each other that coffe got frustrated.... i really dont know... there isnt any change in routine.... i moved coffee into her new home last night thats is about it but this happened before i put coffe in her new viv.... im tempted to try it but i dont want anyone gettin hurt i may do it on my day's off this week as i can keep a close eye on them...x

Re: pairing females
Thats really odd. I'm sorry to hear that Sarah.
But i suppose thats why it isn't recommended to house leo's together; theyre attitudes towards each other can change very quickly.
In a few weeks time you can try again and you may see a different result.
