Unwanted babies?
What do the top breeders do when they hatch a Leo which doesn't fit into their plans? It must happen all the time so I'm just curious as to what happens with the unwanted.

Sold for cheap at reptile shows or sold in bulk to pet stores. Those $15 geckos you see in Petco/Petsmart, no employee ever knows what morphs they are or where they even came from. But "top breeders" don't really hatch out unwanted morphs as everything is planned ahead of the time. There's no random breeding of unknown morphs or hets with reputable breeders.
There are times when breeders are working to achieve certain morphs, and they do breed out some they don't need to use. But these are projects that can often take 2-3 years to achieve, sometimes longer. The excess geckos are usually sold for cheap.
A good rule of thumb for new breeders is to not mix geckos without knowing their genetic background. Also if you find that a combination will give you too many hets, it's best to keep hets to 1 het, and to never cross mix the different albino genes.

If its a morph that I dont want I either sell it cheaply to friends or family. Or sell at a price to sell to local shops or public x
