Like Button?

Hey Everyone

I just wanted to know what you all think about getting a 'like button', like the kind that are on facebook but obviously it will work a little differently on a forum. I think it would be nice to be able to 'like' funny or interesting comments.

If the 'like button' was to be made, it would mean that the forum would be off for about 3 hours or so to set it all up.

Soo let me know what you think??

Sarah, I think that is a GREAT idea. That way you can simply like the post or thread even if you do not have a real comment, Then I feel like I don't have to think of something to say, you can just "like" it:)

I've never really been a fan of the whole "like" or "Thanks" button thing.

I think it will stop members posting single comments saying haha and lol.. and such. because I think they only write that because they don't know how to comment to whatever has been said.. A like button would mean that they could just 'like' it instead

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestion.

I am currently working with facebook in a few ways to incorporate some great features into the forum.

As i know a lot of you have a facebook account (a lot of the world has a fb account) i will be looking into ways i can join your facebook account with the forum.

I can't promise the 'like' button will be the first of the feature's to appear, but if it is a popular request amongst the membership, i'll strive to get it done ASAP for ya's.

I think opening up the "Thank" button to everyone in a thread, and make it be able to be used multiple times would be just as good as a like button. :0
