Hi all, I have had a number of mealworms pupate into "aliens" which anke loves to eat but was wondering whether it would be fine to feed anke the beetles once thay have fully pupated ? Smile Smile

The bettles offer a lot less nutritionl value as the meat to shell ratio is way off. Too much indigestable matter on the bettles imo. The aliens however are a great treat... not as high in fat as wax worms, no shell and lots of good protein.

That sounds like a good plan Smile just remember the best diets are a rotation so between the mealies, the aliens and the dubs you should have a very healthy animal. thumbs up 2

I could never raise mealies, with as much as Eros loves aliens none would ever get to pupate, I couldn't resist feeding them to him Smile can't grow a colony that way aye Wink
