Any idea?
I'm new to the world of reptiles. I've done more research on crested geckos then leopard geckos because I had planned to get a crestie. I ended up falling in love with my little leo, and I'm curious to know what morph he is. It doesn't really mean anything to me, but if anyone asks, I'd like to be able to tell them. I want to know as much about my little Misfit as i can.
If I need better pictures, let me know. I never get tired of of capturing his beauty.

Re: Any idea?
I would say that is a very pretty looking tangerine. Will quite possibly be a SHTCT Baldy....which means...Super hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy. Super Hyop means little or no body spotting, Carrot tail means literally orange on the tail, and the baldy means no spots on the head.
The tail is growing back quite nicely. It looks good:)

Thank you so much!
I've had him since July 22, and his tail has doubled in size from what it was when I first saw him. He loves his crickets.

Re: Any idea?
<3 A fellow dropped tail-er!
My rescue/first leo has a dropped tail as well! I rescued my little gal from my insane neighbors >:/
ANYWAY, Misfit (? Is that his name?) is adorable! A very unique color, I haven't seen that pattern on a gecko before! Jordan, is the morph expert on here, so he'll probably come soon to set everything straight!
I'd love to see some pictures once and a while of your geckos tail to compare it to my geckos growing-back tail.
It looks awesome so far!
Welcome to the forum BTW!

I agree w/Jolene. But if were wrong Jordan will school us :-) I think the chunky tails are so cute. My male fat tail is like that. Sometimes you cant tell which side is his head and which is his tail, lol

Re: Any idea?
Kathryn: I saw that post about her and I cried. How could anyone treat a creature so horribly, especially one they had as a pet? My heart goes out to little Miracle and to you for saving her. And yes, that's his name. Misfit. The first words out of my mouth after I heard about his tail were, "Poor little misfit!" and so it stuck. I'm a sucker for 'flaws' as everyone else would call them. In my opinion, it just gives the little ones more character. I personally love the misshapen tails more then the regular tails. Or the tailless, like frog butt cresties. Watching his nub twitch when he hunts makes me squeal because of its cuteness.
Carmella: Aw! Do you ever hand feed him and choose the wrong end? :P

Re: Any idea?
It was terrible! And thanks ^_^ I just couldn't leave her, and neither could my family. She is so sweet and gentle, which makes me wonder why they didn't want her. Gentlest leo I've ever met! Misfit is an adorable name! OMG I love it! I think it suits him too! Very cute! I agree, flaws just make them cuter! It makes them feel more relate-able, you know? When they wiggle their tail for hunting its adorable! Especially with their little nubby tails! :P

Re: Any idea?
I just wish he'd let me at least touch him. He's still a baby, though. I'll keep trying, and hopefully he won't bite me again.
She's gorgeous. I want to cuddle with her lol.

Re: Any idea?
Yeah, generally every reptile as a baby is nippy and insecure. Just give your little one time, and he'll turn round.
Re: Any idea?
He'll warm up to you. Let him watch you, just observe you. Try touching him slowly, maybe reward with a treat once and a while too while petting him.
Thanks! I'm sure she'd want to cuddle with you too ^_^ She loves being held and cuddled all warm. :P
