New Leopard Gecko (pics coming soon)
Well, I've been a bit down lately. A little frustrated with my surgery limitations, one of my favourite fish is sick and could die very soon, and my sister's beloved fish died today. Also, I just wanted a new gecko!
So I got a new gecko!
I believe she is a normal or high yellow(pics coming soon). I got her off a breeder about half an hour away. He wasn't positive on the gender, but he thinks its a girl. If not, that's OK. :P
I'm probably gonna divided Miracle's tank in half when the time comes, or put her (if its a girl) with Miracle to share the tank. Not sure yet.
She's somewhere between 2 to 5 weeks old.
No names yet, waiting to see her personality. I'm very excited because this is my first baby leo, as my other leo Miracle was a rescue, so I never got to take care of a youngun'. She's a little spitfire so far! In the car, I tried to help her remove a piece of shedded skin, (as she is shedding right now) and she jumped onto my shoulder and then ran back down my arm in what felt like the blink of an eye! Family loves her as well. Can't wait to see her grow!
Pictures coming either later tonight or tomorrow morning!
I will also post some pictures of Miracle's tail, as it is growing back SO FAST!
Update on Miracle, we moved her into the kitchen as I can't go up and down stairs, and she was downstairs. She loves it up here, loves being able to see everyone, and she has made friends with my mom's betta. :P She likes to sit under the betta's bowl (its like a humongous wine glass shape). Its really cute!

Re: New Leopard Gecko (pics coming soon)
Remember she can't be housed with miracle for a while.
one, because of course they need quarantined from each other at first.
nd two, its dangerous and risky to house them when they are at different sizes.
and three, miracle should not be housed with anyone for a long time while she heals, recovers, and learns to feel safe again.

Don't worry Jordan! I won't be putting them together for a LONG time!
I understand all those rules.
Thank you for letting me know. I wouldn't risk their health. I probably won't be putting them together in the tank, I'll divide it.
I just needed an excuse/"place" to put her so my parents would let me get her
She's probably going to be getting a nice big tank to herself in the short future!
