Probe thermometers? Empty Probe thermometers?

I've been looking for those probe thermometers and I can't find any! The thermometers at the pet store don't have the probe thing, so I tried looking in Canadian Tire, but I couldn't find any! What section would they be in?
Also, is this the same thing:

It says its for aquariums, but do you think I'd be able to use it accurately for a gecko tank?

For now I am using one of those cheapy sticker thermometers, which I know are terribly inaccurate. :/

Yes, that aquarium thermometer looks fine to me Smile

I use an exoterra digital thermometer Very Happy Just search digital thermometers on eBay or google Very Happy

Thing is about aquarium thermometers is that they are MADE to be submerged in water.

So natrually its not gonna be as accurate as something MADE to sit on a surface.

Look at places like home depot or lowes... home improvement/harware stores. I've even seen them at wal mart. Even if you do order online I can I've you some great places where if you order 3-4 things it'll be under $25 so it makes the shipping worth it.

I find them in the kitchen section of Canadian Tire...usually at the very end of an aisle:)
