My new rescue
Hey all. This is my new rescue leo, which is also my first reptile. Long story short, my neighbors are evil, so I took this little gal off their hands, and hopefully with some TLC, she will grow her tail back somewhat normally.
I was wondering what morph she is. I was thinking she is a murphy's patternless...

Re: My new rescue
Jordan is our resident expert on Morphs so I am sure he will correct me on this but I think it is either blizzard and murphys patternless as you suggest. Jordan will tell you for sure:)
Re: My new rescue
Blizzard.
A clearer picture of that eye would be nice too, it seems like there is the possibility of 'blizzard eclipsing' which is a pretty rare occurence.
So that would be kind of neat.

Re: My new rescue
One thing im thinking is though, repti-carpet is notorious for harbouring bacteria... so with a dropped tail opening like that it could easily become infected.
Kitchen towels would be a much safer and better subtrate while its recovering.

Re: My new rescue
Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it!
Ya! I have a blizzard, sounds much cooler than a murphy's patternless (although my mom will be disappointed because her maidens name is Murphy, and she loves any relation to that LOL)!
I will post more pictures of her eyes tomorrow, it would be really cool if I had a rare eye type for my first leo!
I may post pictures of my friend's geckos, because I believe she is interested in knowing what types of leos she has, but I'm gonna ask her first...
Thanks for the tip Jordan. I never thought about the bacteria in the repti carpet getting at her tail. I'm probably going to be replacing the repti carpet soon with tile, but until then I will use the paper towels. Thanks!

Re: My new rescue
As promised, here is a picture of her eye (no flash - didn't want to blind her!)

Re: My new rescue
lol its the opposite eye to what you posted before
did you get a clearer picture of the first eye? lol
The eyes CAN actually be different amazingly.
But that eye seems to be an albino eye, so you might have a Blazing Blizzard there.

Re: My new rescue
Glad this leo is in your care now.
I love patternless, it was my first leo, if this is a Blizzard thats awesome too, because I think my toothless might be one.

Re: My new rescue
I didn't know their eyes could be different!
Sorry! I'll get another picture of her OTHER eye today, and post later (I have physio in a few minutes).
Oooh! This is so cool, I'm learning so much about leos so fast! Its VERY exciting!
And thanks, I'm loving the blizzard-ness of her too!
EDIT: Found some pictures I took yesterday of her other eye!
