Here's a picture of my new leo, I'm curious as to what morph he/she is, I got her as a Blizzard/Snow, both in the same tank. To me she doesn't look like either, but I am new to leos. the closest I see to her pattern is something I found that is a Banded NormalHelp Identifying Baby_l14

Where'd you buy her from? Snow babies are pretty obvious... my boy is a bold mack snow het patternless het bell, here's a pic to give you an idea of how they look as babies

your little one doesn't show any of the traits of a mack snow but like kodie said, a nice normal.

I got her from this local reptile shop http://www.junglebobsreptileworld.com/Jungle-Bobs-Reptile-World/ , they're pretty well liked around here, this is where i got my chameleon as a hatchling 2 years ago and shes beautiful and healthy so I figured if I was going to buy another reptile i trust them more than any petco or any other corporation. Here's what is confusing to me, from the tank we chose her, had a couple gecko hatchlings in it. The tank had a sticker on it labeled "Mack Snow" and "Het Blizzard", now, we liked her pattern and tempermant from the get go so it wasn't like we wanted a certain morph in particular, and the guy told us she was a blizzard, now obvious to me that she is not, the other geckos in the tank were blizzard leopard geckos barely any color or any pattern almost a little red with color on the eyes. So my question really is, is does the fact that it says het blizzard, mean she could carry the trait but show the colors of a normal morph? or did the guy just rip me off and sell me a normal?

If she is het blizzard then that would be a hidden trait (Heterozygous) that wouldn't show up unless bred out with another blizzard/het blizzard leo, then you might see blizzard babies, but visually she would appear as a normal. That would be her phenotype. Blizzards actually are said to have more of a standoff-ish temperament so you're kinda lucky she isn't phenotype (the actual, visible appearance of an animal) blizzard or she could be a real snot. Obviously mack snow babies are pretty easy to pick out. Generally the only black and white babies in the viv. Were there any black and white babies in the viv you got her out of?

If the dude that sold her to you told you she WAS a blizzard dude totally lied, I'd call back and ask if he meant blizzard or HET blizzard... HUGE difference. If he meant het blizzard then I think that employee needs a little lesson in properly explaining morphs to potential customers. It's hard to say with out test breeding her if she is het blizzard, but she certainly isn't phenotype blizzard.

Obviously a juvie blizzard is really pretty much going to stand out in a crowd

We do have a couple of really good morph directories on the forum.

So I don't think you got ripped off, I just think that dude misspoke when he was explaining the leo to you but if this is a trusted herp shop I would def. call them up and give them a big what the heck.

Just curious but how did jungle bob tell you to do your leo's set up?
