Re: chameleon
I was told today that he might be a nosey bee panther chameleon, according to my friend I got to handle him today
Re: chameleon
It is a nosey bee panther, I've had 2 in the past and they are fantastic little guys, with such great characters!

Re: chameleon
Are you sure it's a nosey bee and not a nosey falla? All the bees Ive seen are bright blue with yellow lines.
Re: chameleon
The Nosy Fala have very distinctive white lining on them, the Nosy Be can have bright blue with yellow on them, but they can also have a lot of green. They vary considerablly depending on what mood they are in :-)
Re: chameleon
Hey mrs looney did you end up getting a cham for your boyfriend?
I have an 11 mth old male Veiled Chameleon (gothicgurrrl that's a Yemen Chameleon) and if you need any advice I am more than willing to help. Both Jordan and Kel are absolutely correct - Chams are difficult to keep and require very specific husbandry but if I can do it, so can you. And if your boyfriend can successfully keep marine fish then he will be fine cos I also keep fish albeit a freshwater tank and know how hard that is!
BTW, you absolutely do have to dust their food for the same reasons as leos but chams need more calcium, especially the big ones like mine cos they have much bigger skeletons.
Sorry this reply is so late but I didnt think there were any cham posts on LGF.
