Is my gecko starting to like me?

Had my leopard gecko for roughly a month and a bit and about a week ago he has began to come out his hidey hole and towards the window, he does this whenever i sit by his cage, i slide the door across and he comes up and stands on the side of the opening and when i put my hand out he climbs onto my hand. Does this mean he has recognised me as a friend?

yes. he trust you and understands that your not harmful.
Its a good thing that hes doing this. And most likely isnt stressed anymore and feel comfortable.
Cant wait for mine to get more comfortable. slowly but surely.

I think it depends on the personality of the individual leopard gecko In my opinion, when my leopard gecko meets me at the glass it usually means it wants something usually food lol

My gecko does that and he will just happily sit there and watch me

My guy is a shy boy even at 2+ years old. He doesn't come out when he sees me but he will when he sees our dogs, they share a room off the living room. They're not all social butterflies so be happy yours likes the interaction.
