Congrats, I'm a new owner myself and I'm loving it. The people on here have been so friendly and helpful.

Absolutely, the people here are a huge help. Just fed him/her for the first time and he/she ate like 10 mealworms, not bad for the second night with me i think, will also let me handle her already(dont know why but i want to call it a she).

hi I am james. Smile She may not fully tame yet as she still look quite young, my leo was not tame at all when I got her but I am now able to pick her up and hold her with out her minding. leos take a few days or perhaps a bit longer to settle in to their new environment/surroundings that's probably why she may not be eating. given time she will start to explore and get used to her new home. from the photo it looks like you have her on reptile carpet which I am afraid is a bad choice leos can get their claws stuck in it and their teeth whilst hunting also it's like a breeding ground for bacteria and its hard to clean completely if you read this it gives you examples of good substrates for your viv http://www.leopardgeckoforum.com/t166-proper-housing-for-leopard-geckos Smile
