New leos!!
So i've been talking with this guy i found online for a few weeks now because he apparently had a whole "community" of leos for sale. Just yesterday he dropped his price for them all to such a good price i just couldn't pass up. Apparently his pet store went out of business and just has a lot of reptiles for sale. But i got 7 proven breeders in all. In a couple days ill post up shots of all of them for correct morph ID but what he is telling me is.. 1 normal, 1 giant, 1 albino, 4 tangerines he said he got a few from crestedgeckos.com so I'm pretty confident that their genes are not super mucked up. Super excited and have a lot of work ahead of me but I HAD TO LET YOU ALL KNOW

Re: New leos!!
Congrats
That's a lot of geckos and potentially a lot of eggs and hatchlings. Make sure you are prepared to care for them and have plenty of space as each female could lay up to 20 eggs a season. Good luck.

I think my "game room" is now my reptile room haha. I've got plenty of space for them all and buyers lined up. But be prepared for a flurry of questions . I've done my homework and all but nothing is better than talking to a person with real experience.

Re: New leos!!
Surprise surprise, got an egg! Haha wasn't expecting them THIS soon, but i've got the lay box on a part of the enclosure that is around 83 82 until i calibrate my crappy home made incubator. But the same guy i got the leos from says he has a 1 yr old digital reptibator for 80 bucks. Anyone have any experience with these?

Re: New leos!!
Thats a lot of leos... Hope you know what youre getting into. Is that pic from dudes house? Was he keeping those leos on sand? Kinda surprised you didn't have the incubator set up and calibrated as soon as you got home with the "very pregnant leos" woulda been the first ting I would have done honestly. Good luck with them.
Re: New leos!!
Well i wasn't told they were pregnant, only saw that they had 2 big fat eggs each when i was sexing them.. The guy was just like i THINK they might be pregnant when i met him. So it was a surprise.. Yea thats the guys house. And my incubator is calibrated now, thanks kermit
